SoftMoc Project Request

To approach this design, I wanted to combine the key elements I associate with Birkenstocks. They’ve always felt like a timeless, retro-inspired shoe that has remained consistently stylish throughout both my childhood and adult life. With that in mind, I explored a 90s-inspired pattern aesthetic while incorporating the modern yet nostalgic complementary colour pairing of orange and blue. To tie the two eras together more seamlessly, I also introduced earthy tones like beige and brown throughout the design.

For me, the success of a design is often reflected in its versatility. Because of that, it felt important to showcase how the concept could extend across different applications and specifications, rather than limiting it to just the website.
